in one of our six congregations

The Church is organized into local geographic units called stakes and wards. A stake typically has six to nine congregations (wards) within its physical boundary.  The Phoenix West Maricopa Stake is located in the West Valley of Phoenix, in Avondale and Tolleson, and is comprised of six congregations which share two chapels. Wards hold weekly worship services called Sacrament Meeting.  Stakes host a conference for members residing within the stake twice a year.
